We also won't tell you a rotted or badly bowed wood panel from a 1950s or 60s build is worth patching just to save you money today. A lot of the housing stock across this area went up between 1938 and 1983, with a lot of it clustered around 1957, and on those older doors the track and hardware were often sized for a door that's now warped, off-balance, or held together with more caulk than wood. When a door's frame is the real problem, we'll say so instead of billing you for a spring swap that won't fix it.
And if a job needs a part that's genuinely obsolete - old hardware that nobody manufactures for anymore - we'll tell you that up front rather than stall you on a lead time we can't back up. That's the honest limit of what a repair truck can do.
